Radiographer Led Discharge: Leeds Teaching Hospital (Yorkshire Imaging Collaborative)

The presentation will cover the benefits to the patient and multi-disciplinary staff groups of having a Radiographer expert available within the ED. The Clinician/referrer maintains responsibility for clinical assessment and the radiographer applies their expert interpretation skills, working together for best patient outcome. There is (deliberately) limited additional clinical training required for radiographers within the model.
