Shine a light on co-production March 2026: Community Awareness Projects-Tackling Cancer Inequalities

This event is all about showing what can be achieved when people with lived experience and people who work for the NHS (learnt experience) partner together. At each event, they share their stories of collaboration, their top tips, what went well, the challenges they faced, and how their cooperation made a difference and led to improvements.

Tuesday 31st March event: Empowering Communities Through Co-Production

Join us to explore how funded community co-production projects across the West Midlands are raising awareness of cancer signs, symptoms, and the importance of cancer screening. This inspiring work shows how communities, working alongside the NHS, can shape projects that reflect lived experience, reach seldom-heard groups, and break down barriers to early diagnosis. From grassroots engagement to community-led solutions, these projects highlight the vital role of community support in strengthening NHS cancer initiatives.
