Hyperlocal engagement webinar: improving vaccination uptake in London boroughs
Join the Equalities Team’s hyperlocal projects webinar between 09:30am-12:00pm on 12 June 2025.
The webinar features three hyperlocal projects undertaken in the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Newham, and Tower Hamlets with a focus on Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, African and Caribbean communities.
These hyperlocal projects commissioned through regions and ICBs were designed to support local projects focused on improving vaccination uptake within underserved and culturally diverse communities. The webinar will provide valuable insights and recommendations of successful strategies and initiatives.
The objectives of the webinar include:
- Sharing good practice in local community engagement and how to improve vaccination uptake within identified underserved communities
- Learning about effective engagement strategies
The sessions will be interactive with time for discussion and Q&As. The webinar will be chaired by Khadidja Bichbiche, Deputy Director of Equalities, NHS England.
