North Workforce Network - Psychological Professions Workforce Focus

17 July 2025 12:00pm – 1:30pmBST (+01:00)
Location TBC

In this session, members of both the North East and Yorkshire and the North West region Psychological Professions Networks will be sharing innovations and developments which they believe can contribute to strengthening current and future workforce development for the psychological professions.  Their work also provides an opportunity to consider how psychological professionals can contribute to workforce challenges and support new ways of working.

The psychological professions are a diverse group of professions whose work is informed by the disciplines of psychology and psychological therapy. They work with people to prevent and alleviate psychological and emotional distress, manage mental health and wellbeing and empower individuals and communities to improve their lives. The Psychological Professions Network (PPN) exists to maximise the benefits to the public of the psychological professions across NHS commissioned healthcare in England.

Come and hear from the chairs and programme manager from the North East and North West Psychological Professions Network. We will focus on Pathways to Progression in the Psychological Professions, and the contribution of Psychological Practice in Physical Health.

This will be of particular interest if you have a role in HR, service delivery & redesign, workforce planning and transformation, but anyone interested is welcome.
