A.A.D (Acute Aortic Dissection)

We are pleased to invite you to the Acute Aortic Dissection (AAD) in-person Event, facilitated by the East of England Cardiac Network.

It will be a valuable opportunity for all secondary care colleagues to familiarise themselves with the pathways, ensuring the delivery of optimal care across District General Hospitals (DGHs) and the main centres.

• Type A & B Dissection introduction and pathways update
• Patient perspective - what happened after my type A AAD, including recovery, rehabilitation, long term management and further interventions
• Emergency department perspective and case study
• Intensive Care Unit nursing perspective
• Advances in imaging for AAD
• Critical Care Transfer Service for AAD patients
• Practical case studies clinical scenarios workshop
