Join us for our upcoming Diabetes Clinical Network event, bringing together healthcare professionals, service leads and commissioners from across the region to collaborate, share insights and shape the future of diabetes care in Greater Manchester.

The event will be held on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 29 at the King's House Conference Centre in Central Manchester.

The full agenda is being finalised but the event will feature:

  • Discussion on NICE proposals to amend guidance on medicines for type 2 diabetes
  • The development of the GM CVRM (Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism) pathway
  • The implications of increased use of medicines in weight management
  • Opportunities to share best practice and the latest developments in diabetes management and care pathways
  • Networking with system colleagues and the Greater Manchester and Eastern Cheshire Strategic Clinical Networks diabetes clinical leads group
  • Interactive discussion and consultation sessions focused on improving outcomes and reducing inequalities
