AMR in Focus: Empowering Health Professionals in the Fight Against AMR
The Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) programme team at NHS England is once again supporting World AMR Awareness Week, an annual, global event which takes place 18th – 24th November. This year, we will be delivering three national webinars.
Today's webinar will provide a focus on the Human Health Agenda with an emphasis on communicating actions that health professionals can take to address AMR.
- Our speakers: We are delighted to announce that we will be joined by Professor Dame Sally Davies, UK Special Envoy on Antimicrobial Resistance and a leading figure in global health; Professor Matt Inada-Kim, Acute Medicine Consultant at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust and National Clinical Director for Infection, Antimicrobial Resistance and Deterioration and Dr Rajeev Shah, Clinical Director, Community Health Services for Bedfordshire & Newham and Chair, NICE Centre for National Clinical Guidelines.

- Audience: Generalist and specialist NHS Professionals from a range of care settings primary and secondary care / ICB and to those with a direct interest in AMR.
- Registration Note: Registration for this webinar will close at 12noon on Thursday 13th November. The Joining Link will be cascaded to all registered NHS colleagues on Friday 14th November.
