Please join NHS England for a supplier webinar on the upcoming tender for the replacement of the Cyber Operations Penetration Testing Service.

The relentless drive towards improved healthcare outcomes and efficiency gains is fuelling a journey towards ever increasing levels of digitisation within healthcare providers. The advantages realised by this wave of digitisation come with new threats as our data must be protected from those who would compromise our systems, services and data and our IT operations through malice or negligence.

In this context, the NHS England Cyber Security Operations Centre, the Security Testing & Red Team (STaRT) provides the delivery of and vital support for the penetration testing capability.  

Building on lessons learned to date NHSE is seeking up to four suppliers, via a multi-year call-off contract, to be deployed fairly and equitably to support penetration testing requirements across the NHS.

At this webinar, we will share our plans, requirements, and timescales for the procurement of this replacement service and provide an opportunity for suppliers to shape effective and deliverable requirements.

From these engagement sessions we hope that the supplier community will:

• have a greater understanding of our core and new requirements
• help us shape the best possible structure for delivering this vital service
• begin preparing to respond to the opportunity when it is published.
