Joining up data in adult social care - update on our work

Please join NHS England's digitising social care team to hear an update on the work they are undertaking to join up data in the adult social care sector.

Currently, no central data infrastructure for social care exists to support seamless information sharing across adult social care and health care. Staff time is wasted using outdated communication methods, and individuals often must repeat information multiple times to different health and care professionals.   Building this national capability is now our priority. We have procured a partner to support a discovery to help us understand what the technical approach to the problem should be and during this session we will share some of the outputs from this discovery as well as the user research interviews we have undertaken with the sector.
