North Workforce Network Event

Treatment to Prevention:

How to deliver positive change -  through education, training, collaborations and workforce redesign.

In this session, we will focus on the shift from Treatment to Prevention in Health and Social Care, through the perspective of workforce design, training and education.

There is much to learn and collaborate together on as we reflect on the many different factors that work towards good health for our populations. In this network event, you will hear from colleagues working in a range of spaces - Public Health, Primary and Community Care and Mental Health, delivering important prevention work in both the North East and Yorkshire region and the North West region.

Presentations will include insights from our regional colleagues in Public Health, training offers available, redesign and apprenticeship examples, and networking opportunities. Also find out about programme areas making positive impacts for our communities, such as cardiovascular disease prevention delivery, and ways to find out more on education, training and redesign to strengthen health prevention, in line with the 10 year plan
