The NHS Spend Comparison Service is a free to use national data tool that helps procurement, finance, and analytics teams understand how much the NHS is paying for goods and services across the system. It brings together spend and pricing data from every NHS trust, giving users visibility into costs, variation, and potential savings opportunities. 

If you’ve never used the platform before, join our monthly Beginner Induction Session — a one-hour, hands-on introduction designed to help you get started. We’ll show you how to access the tool, navigate the dashboards, and explore practical use cases like price benchmarking, opportunity spotting, and market insight. No prior experience needed — just bring your curiosity! 

Please note these MS Teams sessions are for NHS (including NHS Supply Chain) or DHSC colleagues only and you will need to register with an NHS or DHSC email.
