Shine a light on co-production July 2026 - Turning Lived Experience into Community Led Solutions
We are delighted to invite you to the July 2026 Shine a light on co-production event presenting:
Turning Lived Experience into Community Led Solutions – Capital Charity
Join us for an inspiring session where we’ll be sharing an overview of the CAPITAL & Drug and Alcohol Partnership (WSCC) Project, highlighting how co‑production has shaped the work from day one.
Led by council leads, people with lived experience, and CAPITAL staff, our presentation will explore the many ways lived experience has influenced the project, from setting priorities and guiding decisions to strengthening peer leadership across our community.
We’ll discuss the collaborative approaches we’ve used, the lessons we’ve learned along the way, and the impact of the community fund. We’ll also be sharing poetry created by people with lived experience. Above all, we’ll be shining a light on the power of working with people rather than for them, and the positive difference this approach has made for communities across West Sussex
