You are invited to register for our Unpaid Carers Bi-Monthly Lunch and Learn Webinar: Lived Experiences of Domestic Abuse Carers taking place on Wednesday, 20th May 2026, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

Our bi-monthly Lunch and Learn webinars bring together carers and professionals from across the country in an informal setting to collaborate, share learning, and support the identification and needs of unpaid carers.

Join Leanne Leverton, Senior Lecturer in Health & Social Care at Lincoln Bishop University, who will lead an interactive session exploring the lived experiences of carers affected by domestic abuse, alongside the role of district nurses in supporting them. They will also share what they have learned as a university around supporting carers.

The session will draw on real-life experiences featured in their “Evolving through stories and research: A university’s journey in understanding care research with students and staff carers.

The session will be chaired by Sian Harris, Experience of Care Policy Lead- Unpaid Carers, NHS England.
