London Regional Listening Event - AHP Framework 2027-2032

CAHPO Suzanne Rastrick, the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer for England will soon be announcing the development of a new professional framework for AHPs that will succeed the current AHP Strategy: AHPs Deliver 2022-2027. The framework will set the future long-term vision, direction and ambition for the 14 registered professions within health and care, aligned to national policy.

The two previous AHP strategies have positioned AHPs as an integral part of transformation, both as strategic enablers and drivers for cultural change. With the foundations of AHP leadership and culture established, this third document will have a greater focus on delivery in the NHS and local authorities, where AHPs have an important leadership role in community and preventative care, in driving innovation and harnessing digital tools. 

As development gets underway, we would like to invite you to attend an engagement workshop for the London Region, in partnership with the Office of the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer, so that your insight, knowledge and expertise can help feed and inform the development of the new framework.

The workshop will be held on Monday 6 July with a 09:30 arrival, starting at 10am; and ending at 1pm in Waterloo, central London
