GIRFT commissioning webinar: Best practice for glaucoma services

Lydia Chang and Jon Bhargava, GIRFT joint clinical leads for ophthalmology, are hosting a webinar to discuss the commissioning element of GIRFT’s new Best Practice for Glaucoma Services guidance.

This GIRFT guidance offers a practical framework for delivering consistent, patient-centred glaucoma care which prioritises early detection, accurate referrals and lifelong continuity of care.  

In this webinar, Lydia Chang will present on the implementation of the pathway for commissioners, and Professor Cecilia Fenerty, Chair of Glaucoma UK, will present a good practice example of an audit of community glaucoma provision in Manchester.

We will be also joined by a panel of speakers to discuss ‘Transforming glaucoma services from a commissioning perspective’ and how organisations can work collaboratively across professional boundaries for the benefit of all patients.
