Staff Standard: Violence Prevention and Reduction
To support implementation of the Staff Standards, NHS England is launching a national series of learning sessions to explore each of the Staff Standards in more detail.
Staff Standard: Violence Prevention and Reduction
All NHS staff have the right to feel safe and supported at work, in an environment that takes meaningful action to prevent and reduce violence, aggression, intimidation and abuse in any form.
This learning session will provide an overview of the Violence Prevention and Reduction Staff Standard, exploring what the standard means in practice, the employer actions that support implementation, and how organisations are creating safer working environments for staff.
The session will include practical examples from NHS organisations, highlighting approaches that support violence prevention and reduction.
The learning session is aimed at NHS workforce, HR and staff experience professionals, organisational leaders, managers, staff, and trade union representatives.
Please take a few minutes to complete this short form to help us shape and deliver future Violence Prevention and Reduction Staff Standard events and support: Violence Prevention and reduction Staff Standard Questionnaire.
