What is this event about? 

The aim of the event is to explore the trait of resilience from the perspective of the coach/mentor as self and as practitioner. Participants will be introduced to the four pillars of resilience and, through reflection and interactive activities, will leave with practical tools they can use to support their own resilience and that of their clients/coachees. 

What will it cover? 
We will: 
• Consider what resilience is, why we need it as individuals and as coaches 
• Consider the coach/mentor paradox in resilience and key focus areas to be aware of 
• Develop practical strategies to aid autonomy  
• Strengthen professional affiliation networks 
• Celebrate achievement as a resilience building block 
• Clarify individual purpose frameworks 
• Build a personalised resilience tool kit 

Why should I attend? 
 
The session will reflect on resilience theory with the objective of creating a robust understanding of the topic in relation to the coaching profession. Participants will experience a variety of applications that can be used in their own practice.

The blended session will include a presentation and interactive elements, including a variety of practical activities and exercises.
