Welcome to Engage 2020; a virtual conference brought to you by the Engagement Practitioners Network (EPN) to support public engagement professionals across the NHS, voluntary and other partner organisations to explore new ways to engage with local communities.

This conference format is new and exciting, ‘Engage 2020’ will run for two weeks (16 - 27 November). Co-designed with network members, it includes ‘main stage’ sessions, masterclasses, solution surgeries, community panels, practice development and peer-led learning sessions on a variety of online platforms. There are also a range of well-being sessions, these are designed to support you in these challenging times but also to inspire creative approaches to involving people and communities.

The overarching theme of Engage 2020 focuses on ‘What we have learned about community engagement from the recent pandemic, and how we can apply this to the recovery of the health system, building a better health system for all’.

How to book:

Use the flipbook conference programme brochure and accessible pdf brochure to explore the full range of exciting sessions over the two weeks.  Pick and mix workshops to build your own conference programme to suit you. Click on the link for the date of the workshop/s that you want to attend and sign up.  You can sign up to as many sessions as you like, book quickly – some sessions have limited numbers. The event is open to all engagement staff who have a focus on health and care.

We are all still learning about new ways to engage with people and communities and Engage 2020 gives us a chance to gain new ideas, techniques and learn from each other.
