All-Age Eating Disorders Conference
The South West Mental Health Team invites you to ‘Transforming AED provision in the South West’ - an adult eating disorders conference on 6th October from 10am-4pm in Taunton (venue TBC but lunch will be provided!).
The aim of the day is to share with you the recent scoping work undertaken within the region to map out current AED provision, challenges and best practice. We will use the event to consider current provision against the demand, capacity and need within the system. The event will involve a series of facilitated discussions to outline next steps for AED as part of the community transformation journey.
We are expecting representation from each of the 7 systems across the South West and with a mix of representatives from each locality. As a suggestion, the below would be ideal from each system to ensure a broad and informed discussion with the decision makers around the table:
- Board representation from each MH Trust
- Adult ED/MH commissioner
- Community Transformation leads
- AED service clinical lead
- AED service operational lead
- AED clinicians
- Operational leads from general hospitals (requesting support from Medical Directors to ensure these reps can be identified and supported to attend)
This event will provide the forum to engage with and harness expertise to inform the AED community transformation.
Please use the below link to register to attend this event. **to maximise and draw best value from this event, please discuss attendance as a system to ensure appropriate attendance**
