An Introduction to Speechwriting with Mike Forster 

This bitesize course will cover the practicalities and practice of writing speeches for a variety of purposes; including:

• The important questions to ask before starting
• The ergonomics of writing something that someone has to read out, and people have to listen to
• Developing your messages and making them land, through storytelling and rhetorical devices - like the power of three 

The course will be led by Mike Forster, Senior Adviser to the CEO of NHS England, who has almost 20 years of experience writing for senior leaders at NHS England as well as politicians in the UK and Canada.
