An overview of the EDI dashboard on the Model Health System

Join our webinar to learn about the new Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Improvement dashboard on the Model Health System (MHS).

The NHS EDI Improvement Dashboard will be an NHS-wide infrastructure to enable the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Plan for the NHS workforce in England (NHS EDI Improvement Plan, 2023). The plan will set out a new approach for NHS organisations to address workforce inequalities that exist across the nine protected characteristics, as prescribed in the Equality Act 2010. The plan will also consider social mobility and intersectionality. ​

In line with NHS England’s role in leading the NHS in England to deliver high quality services for all, the EDI Dashboard will help to provide a sustainable accountability framework for ensuring workforce equality in the NHS.
