Best practice in medical job planning - Improvement Guide
As part of NHS England’s work to support consultants and SAS doctors and improve service delivery, we are running a webinar series on Medical Job Planning best practice and learning. These will cover topics including how to develop a data driven job planning cycle, governance and reporting, capacity and demand planning, team-based job planning and more. Each webinar will be 45 minutes around lunch time, and we welcome all NHS staff involved in the medical job planning to attend. Every session will include a case study from services driving improvements for patients and staff through better job planning and will wrap up with a Q&A session.
The first webinar will take place on 5th June from 12-12:45 with a presentation from Stella Vig, Deputy Director for Secondary Care and Quality – NHS England, on why job planning is so critical. The second will take place on 17th June and will look at NHS England's Medical Job Planning Improvement Guide and the High Impact Actions you can take to improve medical job planning. Further webinars will be advertised shortly and will occur monthly. Each session will be recorded and shared on NHS Futures here. We hope to see you there, and please share with colleagues who might be interested in the series.
Further information and joining instructions will be sent to registered delegates 24 hours prior to the event.
