Bitesize Poverty Proofing workshop

Please join us at one of the daily workshops running 15-19th May 2023 to develop your skills on poverty literacy

We’re please to announce that we are working with Children North East, Young Epilepsy, Asthma+Lung UK and Diabetes UK to deliver this training. This workshop is  aimed at staff who work with children, young people and their families with long term conditions, such as asthma, diabetes and epilepsy and how poverty affects their health.

The workshop will include:

• introduction to poverty
• poverty proofing in a health care setting
• why poverty is a problem for CYP and their families managing long term conditions
• what you can do to help.

Open to all that work with Children , Young People and their families, including Health Visitors, School/ SEND staff, Paediatric Staff, Specialist Nurses, Doctors.

Please only book once as each workshop is the same.
