Breast Screening: Health Equity Audit (HEA) and the use of SHAPE application

Breast Screening Health Equity Audit (HEA) Webinar 

The HEA Webinar, delivered by the Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (CSU), will take place on Wednesday 19 March 2025 (11.00am – 13:00pm). The webinar is designed to provide an overview of the HEA process, signposting to available resources and drawing on the learnings from a North West regionally commissioned project, utilising a geospatial mapping tool.

The webinar will cover:

• A sectional overview of the HEA documentation template
• An understanding of HEA completion for breast screening teams
• An introduction to a geospatial mapping tool (Shape)*
• Examples of data use, using Shape

 *As you will learn about using the SHAPE Place Tool, during the webinar, you will need to login to SHAPE Place if you want to follow along with the tool during the demonstration. If you don't already have an account, you can visit https://app.shapeatlas.net before you attend to set one up. Setting up an account should take 5 minutes using your work email address.

 Attendees: All breast screening provider colleagues and NHSE Regional Commissioners who are involved in creating HEAs and those who would like to learn more.
