We would like to invite you to our national event, ‘Calling NHS 111: Optimising the Integrated Urgent Care Workforce’, on Tuesday 6 March 2018.
The event will be held at the Congress Centre, London, from 09:00 to 16.00. Registration will open at 09:00 and the conference will begin at 10:00.
The event will showcase the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC)/NHS 111 Workforce Blueprint as outlined in the IUC Service Specification. The day will focus on the newly developed career framework, supporting skills and competencies of the IUC/NHS 111 call centre workforce.
In addition, this will be an opportunity to learn and share the experiences of how the Blueprint is being actively driven forward by IUC/NHS 111 providers and commissioners, who have piloted, tested and informed initiatives, supported by the programme and the regional urgent and emergency care teams.
On the day, delegates can take part in break-out sessions which will focus on:
- leadership and governance in practice
- mental health and wellbeing
- recruitment and retention
- careers and competences
There will also be chance for delegates to speak with IUC/NHS 111 providers and partners in our learning zone. We will have interactive exhibition stands reflecting the work of the Workforce Investment Fund initiatives and pilot schemes.
We are finalising plans for the event to make sure the day is both informative and engaging. We will be in touch with more information as we get closer to the event.
We hope you can join us on the day.
