Celebrating the diversity of nursing roles in AMS across the healthcare system
This webinar follows on from the success of last year's webinar "Nursing the problem of AMR using the 5 R's of Medicines management". This second webinar will focus on celebrating the diverse contributions nursing professionals make to antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) and is being developed by nurses for nurses.
This session today will take the form of a 2.5 hour educational webinar which is based around the Nursing AMS Competencies Framework (Paper available on FutureNHS: Celebrating the diversity of nursing roles in AMS - Antimicrobial Resistance Programme - FutureNHS Collaboration Platform - sign up required). The presentations today will be themed around each section of the framework.
The objective of this session is to empower nurses in their knowledge of AMS practice and to champion the nurses role in AMS.
Who should attend? This educational webinar is suitable for general nurses, advance clinical practitioners, specialist AMS/IPC nurses and pharmacy teams. We welcome attendance from all sectors as the presentations include focus for both primary and secondary care.
