C(E)TR Chairs Training in the NorthFREE
NHS England have commissioned professional development sessions for current and prospective Chairs of Care (Education) and Treatment Reviews (C(E)TRs). These will support delivery of high-quality outcome driven C(E)TRs for people with a learning disability, autism or both.
The sessions will take place over a day and are open to all Chairs (including freelance Chairs) regardless of type of C(E)TR or setting (ie: Children and Young People, Adults, Specialised Commissioning and Community).
The day will be an exploration of the Chair role, the emphasis will be on sharing and learning from the strengths and experiences of those attending blended with theory.
The day has been co designed by existing Chairs using feedback from experiences of people with a learning disability, autism or both and experts by experience advisory groups. The sessions will be delivered by facilitators who have experience of C(E)TRs as Chairs and or panel members, and in addition by a family carer who has extensive experience of C(E)TR as a panel member.
We encourage all Chairs current and prospective to attend.
Please book your place early to avoid disappointment.
Unfortunately we will not have capacity currently for people who will not be Chairing C(E)TR to attend these sessions
