COVID-19 Analytics in the Chickasaw Nation: A Case Study

The Chickasaw Nation, a Native American tribe based in Oklahoma, USA, has taken a proactive, data-driven approach to managing its response to the COVID-19 pandemic.  This session will explore how IT and analytics have helped the Chickasaw Nation protect employees and citizens safe during the pandemic, from daily employee wellness surveys to managing the vaccination rollout.  We will also show how the R Markdown tool was used to automate daily COVID reporting for tribal leaders.
