I am delighted to confirm that the registration page is now open to take bookings for our annual Chief Nurse (North) Conference.

Join our Chief Nurse Officer, Jane Cummings and our Regional Executive team for our annual conference, "Rising to the Challenge".

This year’s theme is how we “Rise to the Challenge” of the CNOs 5 key challenges:

  2. Technological Revolution
  3. Workforce
  4. Resource
  5. The Image And Pride Of Nursing & Midwifery  

The event is open to Directors of Nursing in Provider Organisations, Executive Nurses in CCGs and Senior Regional Clinical Leads.

The event is sponsored by NHS England, NHS Improvement and Health Education England.

We are delighted that Dr Phil Hammond (NHS doctor, journalist, broadcaster, campaigner and comedian) has agreed to chair the event.

Getting Here

York Racecourse lies within a mile of the city centre and is served by convenient road, rail and air access routes.

By Car

The recommended raceday route to the racecourse from all directions is via the A64 to the south of the racecourse. Please note, on racedays not all of the usual routes to the racecourse are accessible. Please follow the yellow directional signs, and be aware that satellite navigation systems will not contain the traffic plan routes.

By Train Fast and frequent trains run from London Kings Cross, taking as little as 1 hour 52 minutes. Direct trains running from Edinburgh, Manchester and Birmingham. York Station is a taxi, regular shuttle bus or a brisk walk to the racecourse.
