Neurodevelopment (ASD & ADHD) Project

The workshop has been developed to share the work undertaken as part of the Neurodevelopmental Mapping work undertaken across the region.

The workshop is designed to help local areas to improve the support provided to children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorder and provides the opportunity to:

• Undertake a stocktake of the position in your service,
• Think about approaches that have worked elsewhere; models of provision, care pathways, services and modality interventions, that you may want to consider, and
• Undertake planning work to complement what you are currently doing

You will hear about services and approaches that have proved successful elsewhere and about the experience close to home. To help learn from each other about what has worked well, and also what lessons have been learnt, you will hear from:

• Venkat Reddy about the work taking place in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to develop their neurodevelopmental pathway
• Jo John talking about the journey Suffolk has been on as it develops its Readiness Test

We are also inviting the East of England Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research & Care (CLAHRC) to present some of their recent work in this field.

The workshop also provides the opportunity to identify opportunities for working together to share promising practice, identify solutions, and develop joint initiatives.
