Clinical Workforce Productivity: Advancing e-rostering & e-job planning - benefits and resources
You are invited to the Clinical Workforce Productivity, Advancing Levels of Attainment (ALoA) for e-Rostering and e-Job planning virtual event, taking place on Wednesday 28th June, 12:00 – 13:00pm via Microsoft Teams
The event will launch a range of new resources to support local improvements and maximise the benefits associated with optimising the operational planning and deployment of clinical staff through e-rostering and e-job planning.
Launching new resources
We are delighted to announce that following user feedback, we have updated the Clinical Workforce Productivity NHS Futures site to make it easier to navigate and include a wealth of new and refreshed resources. These include the ALOA handbook, updated to link to further resources that support organisations in achieving a higher level of attainment. We have also developed new job planning and rostering toolkits to support users in starting and / or progressing job planning and rostering within their organisations. The toolkits were co-designed with users, for users and are split into easily navigable sections which can either be worked through from start to finish or used as discreate individual sections as required. Case studies and other useful information are refenced in the toolkits with links through to supporting resources.
Benefits
A recent survey of provider and ICB colleagues highlighted the need for additional support with the benefits associated with e-rostering and e-job planning. This session will take users through the identification, quantification and realisation of benefits as well as highlighting resources available, such as template business cases and case studies, to support teams in making the change / investment. It will also demonstrate the Level of Attainment tableau dashboard which enables NHS teams to track and benchmark their level of attainment and compares this against other nationally available KPIs, such as agency / bank as a % of total pay and sickness absence rates, amongst others. The 2023 survey data will be made available in time for this session.
