Commissioner Prevent Workshop

Prevent’s aim is to tackle the problem of terrorism at its roots, by preventing people from supporting terrorism or becoming terrorists themselves.

Although the Home Office has designated a number of geographical priority areas, the fact remains that radicalisation can happen anywhere.

This half day workshop will explain to commissioners of healthcare services how they can help promote and deliver the Prevent agenda through their work in their local healthcare system. 

Refreshments of tea and coffee will be available however, lunch will not be provided, please bring your own packed lunch.
