Community of Practice for Opt-Out Testing in Primary Care: Launch Webinar
Join us for a webinar session for the new Community Opt-Out BBV Testing Collaborative on Thursday 16th July 2026 at 12:00-13:00
Opt-out blood-borne virus (BBV) testing has the power to save lives, reduce health inequalities, and transform early diagnosis, however scaling it successfully requires collaboration across the system.
Whether your area is already delivering opt-out testing, currently in the planning phases, or simply starting the conversation, you are invited to the official launch of the Community Opt-Out BBV Testing Collaborative .
This introductory webinar will formally launch our network, establish our shared goals, and highlight how bringing together diverse expertise from across the health and social care sectors can accelerate our impact.
We welcome anyone across the health and social care sector who has an interest in Opt out BBV testing in community settings.
The CoP is designed to be a living, collaborative space where members can share knowledge, explore joint projects, and support upcoming initiatives. By joining the session, you will discover opportunities to:
- Share Knowledge & Best Practice: Access insights from established testing programmes and share practical, transferable resources.
- Collaborate on Projects: Connect with peers to troubleshoot implementation challenges, design joint initiatives, pathways, and support upcoming local pilots.
- Bridge the Gaps: Build vital links between primary care, public health, secondary care, and third-sector partners to ensure seamless patient pathways.
This is more than a webinar it’s the start of a collaborative movement to strengthen testing pathways, improve outcomes, and reduce inequalities through partnership working
