Comprehensive Assessment of At Risk Mental State (CAARMS) Training
These 2 x 2 hour CARRMS training workshops is the first in four workshops to introduce participants to the concepts of At-risk of Mental State (ARMS) and through case vignettes and the use of video material, exposure to a range of skills and knowledge required to rate patients reliably using the Comprehensive Assessment of At Risk Mental State (CAARMS).
- Rate ARMS cases consistently and reliably using the CAARMS
- Assess the symptoms and needs of patients who are not immediately identified as having psychotic illness
- Use the CAARMS therapeutically to feedback to the individual and referrers

Your place on this training session is precious, please let us know if you can no longer make it so that the place can be offered to another in a timely manner.
Training session is defined as completion of both workshops on one day. Both workshops to be attended. We are unable to mix and match workshop attendance.
Completion of a pre and post training template and an evaluation of the training is required to be completed prior to certification of completion of training.
If you require any special requirements to support your joining this training, please provide details in your covering email when returning your pre training questionnaire and we will do our best to support attendance.
This training is for staff who have not yet received CAARMS training via the SW EI Network or for those who have had a break from practice (e.g., due to maternity leave, career break) and need to refresh.
