COVID-19 cell leads: How to advance equality, reduce health inequalities and involve people

A practical session on Equality and Health Inequalities Impact Assessments and associated public participation assessments.

This mandatory training will enable cell leads to:

  • understand legal obligations in relation to advancing equality, reducing health inequalities and associated public participation duties;
  • ensure that Equality and Health Inequalities Impact Assessments (EHIAs) are routinely completed to a high standard to support NHS England and NHS Improvement to meet our legal obligations and provide evidence that these obligations have positively informed decision-making.

The session will highlight key lessons from COVID-19 in relation to equality and health inequalities and enable us to better meet the needs of our diverse communities and groups.

Please note: This is training for NHS England and NHS Improvement staff only. Please register using your official NHS email address to help us to confirm your place.
