Cyber Associates Network - Manchester engagement event

We are delighted to open registration for the Cyber Associates Network (CAN) engagement event taking place in Manchester on the 14 November.

The CAN was set up to provide a channel for you as members to effectively engage and communicate with each other as well as with NHS Digital and NHSX; providing invaluable opportunities to share and learn across the sector at every level of delivery within cyber security.

With this in mind, based on your feedback and with CAN volunteers involved, we have tried to make these events as interactive and relevant to you as possible, focusing on discussion topics you have raised with us as well as giving you plenty of opportunities to network, share and learn.

We have put together a programme that includes TED-style talks, bookable workshops and informal discussion forums to encourage debate and fuel learning which we hope will give delegates:

• an interactive environment that breeds/nurtures networking and knowledge sharing
• access to sector-specific SMEs
• specific workshops to help members implement cyber security locally
• updates on centrally managed and funded products and services, including those in the pipeline

The event promises to be an exciting mix of informative talks, audience interaction and plenty of time for networking, as the majority of our members said this was important.  We have also planned a marketplace event where you can sign up for services and speak directly with our subject matter experts. The afternoon will be dedicated to networking and breakout sessions including workshops/demonstrations and discussion groups.

Please note registration will open at 9:30am for a 10:00am start. Lunch and other refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

You will be asked to create an account on the NHS England events booking system if you do not already have one. Once you have registered you will be able to manage your booking.
