GIRFT Clinical Operational Standards (COS): Improving patient flow in urgent and emergency mental health care

The Clinical Operational Standards define best practice for delivering timely, safe and effective urgent and emergency mental health care for adults (18+), supporting people presenting in crisis to receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time.
