The Demand and Capacity Programme are hosting a series of webinars over the summer to share good practice on demand and capacity planning for the Covid-19 pandemic looking at the recovery phase and beyond.

There are a lot of challenges facing providers as they re-open elective services, and a lot of questions around how we model capacity and plan to ensure the safety of our patients accessing these services in the coming weeks, month and years.

The tenth in this series of webinars will be hosted by Charlotte Hill, Medical Workforce Programme lead at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, who will share her experience of implementing job planning as part of a demand and capacity approach. The workforce element encompasses both individual and team based planning, and has been used to drive sustainable workforce plans that have proved to be clinically and financially effective. Charlotte will cover what has worked well, lessons learned and how this approach will be taken forward sustainably in the context of the post Covid-19 recovery phase.

Please register with your NHS email address to secure your place on the webinar. Details of the webinar will be emailed the day before the session.

This webinar will be repeated on the 13 August 2020 at 11am. To register please follow: https://www.events.england.nhs.uk/events/demand-capacity-covid19-recovery-job-planning-with-d-c-models-98695
