The Demand and Capacity Programme are hosting a series of webinars over the summer to share good practice on demand and capacity planning for the COVID-19 pandemic looking at the recovery phase and beyond.

There are a lot of challenges facing providers as they re-open elective services, and a lot of questions around how we model capacity and plan to ensure the safety of our patients accessing these services in the coming weeks, month and years.

The eighth in this series of webinars will explore a recent case study from Sunderland of developing demand and capacity modelling in a health system with a single point of access hub. The session will explore what went well and lessons learned and will be co-hosted with Demand and Capacity Analyst, Paul Bullard and Improvement Manager, Marie Herring from NHS England and Improvement.
