Join us for an interactive and informative national webinar delivered by EPIC in partnership with NHS England and system partners. The session will bring together colleagues working across health, justice and secure settings to share learning from a nationally commissioned project focused on improving understanding of vaccinations within secure and detained estates.
The webinar will explore how improving understanding through informed consent can support increased confidence and uptake of vaccinations among children, young people and adults in detained settings.
What will the webinar cover?
- Findings from a review and scoping of existing vaccination information and engagement assets used within detained settings
- Insights gathered through engagement with children, young people, adults and staff across secure and detained estates
- The development of revised and new co-produced resources tailored specifically for detained settings
- Evaluation findings on the impact of co-produced assets on understanding, confidence and vaccination uptake
- Key recommendations to support improved vaccination engagement and informed consent across detained settings
- Applying the learning in practice
The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session and reflections from the panel.
