Diabetes Treatment & Care Event

The meeting will be held at the Cambridge Hallmark Hotel, Bar Hill between 10.00 and 1600 (refreshments available from 09.30).  

This meeting will be hosted by the East of England Diabetes Clinical Network and Jeff Featherstone from the national team will be giving an update on the programme.

This learn and share workshop is provided to enable sites to share progress and learning on implementation of the Diabetes Transformation Fund. This will be an opportunity for sites to discuss issues and challenges and share solutions in working in the four target areas of:

• Treatment targets
• MDFT
• Structured education and commissioners
• Diabetes Specialist Inpatient Nurse (DISN)

At this meeting we would request that all sites come prepared to give a very brief overview of progress, successes and challenges. 

The event is open to partner organisations, commissioners and other parties involved in the implementation of this programme, and you are invited to forward this email to your colleagues.
