Digital Inclusion Framework Refresh: National Relaunch Webinar

24 September 2026 11:00am – 12:15pmBST (+01:00)
Location TBC
Digital inclusion framework update

As digital healthcare continues to expand, ensuring that people can access and benefit from digital services is essential to reducing health inequalities and improving equitable access, experience and outcomes. We are updating the Digital Inclusion Framework, which provides practical guidance to help NHS organisations and partners embed digital inclusion within service design, transformation and delivery.

We have refreshed the framework to support organisations in taking a more consistent and systematic approach to digital inclusion, helping to ensure that digital transformation improves access to care rather than inadvertently creating additional barriers for communities at greater risk of exclusion.

The refresh also introduces a new chapter on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital inclusion, reflecting the growing role of AI within health and care and the importance of considering inclusion and inequalities as these technologies are developed and deployed. This is increasingly important as the NHS expands its use of AI and other emerging technologies, alongside wider ambitions to create a more digitally enabled health service.

During this webinar we will:

  • Introduce the refreshed Digital Inclusion Framework and its purpose.
  • Outline key changes to the framework
