About the Shuri Network (in a nutshell)
The Shuri Network is the first NHS and care network of women from minority ethnic groups in digital health. Launched in 2019, it was created to build a more inclusive leadership community, support career progression, and strengthen visible role models across health and care. It’s named after Shuri (from Black Panther), a symbol of innovation and technological leadership.

  • Access to support, expertise and peer connections across digital health and tech
  • Opportunities to learn through events, talks and an active learning community
  • Support and encouragement to apply for, and succeed in, digital leadership roles
  • A space to champion difference, celebrate diversity and inspire the next generation of digital leaders (allies welcome)

What we’ll cover:

  • What the Shuri Network is, who it’s for, and why it was created
  • What members get out of it (community, development and visibility) and how to get involved
  • A quick tour of key programmes and opportunities (e.g., events, learning and fellowship-style development)
  • How to join, where to find information, and who to contact for support

Session suitable for any colleagues interested in learning more about digital innovations.
