East of England Prevent Forum & Commissioner and Provider Workshop

The Regional Prevent Team will be delivering a Prevent Forum for Prevent Leads in NHS Trusts and independent providers. This will be followed by a Prevent Workshop for NHS Trusts and their commissioners only.

Effective safeguarding of vulnerable people through Prevent

Effective commissioning helps us to be assured that Safeguarding is being delivered. Prevent is an integral part of safeguarding. You are encouraged to attend a workshop organised by NHS England Midlands Prevent coordinators to help you to deliver Prevent effectively within your local health economy.

Workshop aim:

This workshop aims to provide commissioners with the tools and knowledge they require to be assured that their services are safe. It will improve understanding of statutory roles and responsibilities across the Prevent agenda and support the promotion of Prevent across local health economies.
