Embedding the Baby Friendly Initiative NNU Standards

We are pleased to announce we are holding an event focusing on embedding the Baby Friendly Initiative (BFI) Neonatal Standards in the West Midlands.  The event will include presentations from highly respected speakers providing an opportunity to explore the latest information and work being undertaken in this area.  There will be opportunities for discussions and networking.

This is a free event with lunch provided.

Who should attend?  The event is aimed at maternity and neonatal services, directors of public health, NNU managers and clinical leads.

The morning will focus on hearing about the evidence for the standards, how implementing the standards improve health outcomes for mothers and babies and the positive impact on patient experience.

The afternoon will be about planning how to implement the standards; who are best places to lead on embedding the standards, identifying Baby Friendly guardians, developing action plans to help foster positive cultural change.
