Excellence in Basics – Recovery Planning for RTT or Cancer

The Midlands region in conjunction with the Elective Care Improvement support team would like to invite you to a 90-minute session on good practice elective recovery planning.  The session will support staff with the practical knowledge & skills to deliver and meet the quality waiting time standards for RTT and cancer. Attendees should leave the session with a clear understanding of what good recovery planning looks like for either RTT or cancer, how demand and capacity planning underpins recovery plans, how to set out a clear action plan and the key considerations when doing so, how to build trajectories for improvement and what governance is needed to ensure delivery of the action plan is as effective as possible.  The session will have 45-60 minutes of guided learning and then time for questions.

There will be two sessions of the same event and you will only need to attend one, please book onto the session that is most convenient for you.
