Exploring factors impacting end of life care and decision making for people with PMLD
A webinar exploring factors impacting end of life care and decision making for people with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)
This webinar, hosted by the South West NHS England Learning Disability and Autism Programme, aims to explore advanced planning and clinical decision making when a person is acutely unwell. We will discuss how we effectively hear the voices of people with PMLD whilst embedding person centred care.
We have the pleasure of welcoming:
- Dr Andrea Bruun - Research Fellow at Kingston University London presenting the Victoria and Stuart Project
- South West Parent Carer Forum - Exploring partnership working with parent carers
- InFocus Clinic Team - Multidisciplinary focus considering how we hear the voices of people with PMLD to support clinical decision making
There will be an opportunity to share good practice and provide a space to engage in meaningful discussion. We welcome anybody with a passion for improving care for people with PMLD by supporting cultural change.
Once you have registered, a calendar invite will be sent to you.
