Filming with a Smartphone

The Bitesize sessions are for NHS professional communicators only. If you are from a private company please do not register as we will delete it. Note you will receive a Teams invite for the session on the morning of the session. 

The session will be run by Tom Randell our film maker. Tom has a wealth of knowledge and experience at the BBC and ITV filming Dispatches and Panorama and other documentaries. He now films for the NHS and Amanda Pritchard the NHS CE.  He has done a couple of these before one in the middle of the night from California which wasn't ideal and the other he looked at mood and lighting etc. This time Tom will concentrate on the basics:

• Getting the most our of your phone - filming for web and social media
• Principles and techniques
• Capturing good quality sound and light
• Achieving good content
• Phone data wrangling
• Quick turn-around edits
