Overview: In recent years Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionised many industries, including healthcare. When used appropriately, AI can improve efficiency and contribute to better clinical outcomes. However, with the NHS being so heavily focused on meeting targets and performance, it is essential to both acknowledge and remember the importance of emotional intelligence and human emotions when treating patients. This one-day training course will explore how AI can be utilised alongside emotional intelligence to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and overall quality of medical care. Participants will gain an understanding of AI technologies, their applications in healthcare, and practical strategies for integrating AI into their professional practice, whilst exploring how emotional intelligence needs to work alongside AI to futureproof the healthcare system.
