The launch of national online pathway for headache care

NHS England’s Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) programme has launched the first national online pathway and decision-making tool for the care of patients presenting with headache symptoms, supporting GPs and pharmacy colleagues to offer good headache management and care.

This webinar, hosted by Dr Niranjanan Nirmalananthan, GIRFT's joint clinical lead for neurology, will demonstrate the pathway for secondary care clinicians, GPs and pharmacy colleagues, to help advise on the management and treatment options (where appropriate), based on national standards and best evidence.

We will be joined by expert clinicians from the large multidisciplinary group who developed the interactive standardised pathway who will present on the importance of the pathway, and how this pathway can provide a single point of reference for non-specialists to support evidence-based and optimal headache management and care.
